The European Roundnet Association has selected Premier Spike as the equipment provider for the 2026 European Tour Series.

The partnership covers tour events across Europe and follows the company’s expansion into European distribution, which now supplies clubs and national federations in more than a dozen countries.

Premier Spike has been selected as the official equipment provider for the 2026 Roundnet World Championships in France. Every match at the championship will be played on Premier Spike equipment.

The selection follows the company’s adoption across national championships in the United States and Europe, and reflects a growing emphasis on equipment consistency in competitive roundnet. Premier Spike sets use a reinforced interlocking rim that holds a true circle under full net tension — a requirement when the same conditions must apply to every court at a tournament.

Premier Spike equipment was used at the 2025 USA Roundnet National Championships, marking the company’s first national championship selection in the United States.

The decision put Premier Spike sets on every court at the sport’s premier domestic event, three years after the company’s founding.

Jeff Knurek, who invented the game of roundnet in 1989 under the name “Spike-ball,” has joined Premier Spike as a product designer. Knurek designed the original game as a professional toy inventor. He is not affiliated with the Spikeball™ brand as it exists today.

His work with Premier Spike launched as the Inventor Series, a line focused on standardizing competitive play. It currently includes the Net Tension Pro, a tool that gives a repeatable net tension reading so every net at an event can be matched, and the Serving Caddy, which collects balls during serve practice.
